OUR MORNING MEETINGS.

We would like to say to the brethren in Missouri that our morning meetings were to close with our camp-meeting; but seeing their appointment for a fast to be held Sept. 9, we will continue our morning prayer-meeting in behalf of the cause there, and will close with fasting Sept. 9. We would also say that last Sabbath we observed as a day of fasting and prayer in behalf of New England. The Lord was pleased to meet with us; and as we confessed our sins and sought him by prayer his Holy Spirit melted our stubborn hearts.
We feel that if we never hear of the good our prayers have done, it will be like bread cast upon the waters, seen and gathered after many days. E. A. COGSWELL, C. N. FRANKLIN, J. L. FRANKLIN.
