T. M. STEWARD

OHIO TENT, NO. 1.

We left New Antioch one week ago to-day, after seeing twenty names attached to the covenant, and others promising to come along soon. Bro. Butler remained there to spend another Sabbath with them. Bro. Smith and myself came to this place, New Boston (P. O. Dallas), and pitched our tent and commenced meetings Friday evening. We have held five meetings, and the attendance has been good; about three hundred were out yesterday notwithstanding it rained all the afternoon and evening. The people seem anxious to hear. May the Lord give them hearts to obey. Pray for us.
If Bro. Butler is able to preach, he will join us this week; but I fear he will not be able to labor any more this fall. May the Lord help us to do his work faithfully.
