We held meetings with the brethren at Monmouth, Sept. 15-17. The meetings there were encouraging. One more took a decided stand for the truth while we were there. The remainder of the time we have been busily engaged here, five miles north of Parsons. The interest has been good from the first, and continues to increase. Yesterday, Sunday, three were baptized. Thirteen have signed the covenant, and sixteen are, I think, keeping the Sabbath. The fields here are whitening for the harvest. J. H. Cook.
