In our recent meeting, the church at Pleasant Ridge united with us, the church at Union Point, in our efforts to draw nearer to our Heavenly Father. Of a truth it was good to be there. As the brethren and sisters raised their voices in prayer, the blessing of God came into our midst, and there was a general determination to take higher ground, and strive harder to overcome. It was a day long to be remembered. The Union Point church now numbers seventeen members, and I think more will soon unite. C. M. HOWLAND.
