Employment Opportunities for Seventh-day Adventist Farm Laborers
By J. F. Wood
NOTICING a number of applications in the paper for places on farms, as laborers, I will say, I would be glad to employ seventh-day Adventists in my farming operations. I have work enough for four men all the time, while more could get employment here. We have a fine church in steady operation, a good house nearly paid for, and a well organized Sabbath-school and Bible class, to all of which we cordially invite any Sabbath-keepers who may come here. The cause is steadily gaining strength here. We have just held our second quarterly meeting for this year, which was very interesting, several new ones taking their stand with us. Eld. Van Horn was with us, and preached. It seemed to us better than ever. Surely the Lord was here with his blessing.
