PILOT GROVE, IOWA.

July 7, 1877, was a day long to be remembered by the Pilot Grove church. From the first notice of regular quarterly meetings, we believed this to be a move in the right direction; and in our very first meeting, God gave us such a signal blessing that we felt he was especially approving the plan. Though our church numbers upwards of fifty members, there were only twenty-eight present to enjoy this good meeting. Some live too far away; others were hindered by sickness. H. Nicola.
