“Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth.”
Died, Sept. 16, 1877, in Allegan, at the home of her daughter, H. P. Booth, Sarah Jones, of Hillsdale, Mich. She embraced the truths of the gospel 21 years ago, under the labors of Bre. Bates and Waggoner, and has since endeavored to lead a consistent Christian life. Eighteen months ago she was stricken by disease of the progressive paralytic form; and at last, purified through suffering to child-like sweetness, she sleeps well, fearing no evil beyond the dark valley.
“We would the great world grow like thee Through suffering to something good: Then all God’s ways were understood Through substance of the faith we see.”
Frank M. Jones. Henrietta P. Booth.
