JAMES WHITE

By James White

California.

WE are now enjoying delightful weather in Oakland, Cal. There has been rain enough to lay the dust and moisten the soil, so that farmers are beginning to plough and sow. To-day, Nov. 8, has been as pleasant as an Eastern May. The mountains and valleys are looking green, inviting us out among them to enjoy the beauties of nature.
We speak to the people occasionally, and are writing some, but we are walking or riding out more. We are always cheered with good letters from old friends. God bless the brethren.
