[Abridged from the SIGNS OF THE TIMES.]
In the Signs of March 28, Eld. Loughborough gives interesting particulars of the Oakland church, with which he had spent the preceding week. Those who have lately received the truth there are earnest in the work, and making progress. Theprayer and social meeting Tuesday evening, and the three district meetings Friday evening, were full of interest, and the time was well filled with spirited testimonies. The discourses on the Sabbath and on Sunday evening were listened to by good audiences. The Oakland V. M. Society has some valuable accessions to its corps of workers, and this society is doing effective work in spreading the truth.
