NEW BRUNSWICK.

Undine, Victoria Co.

After spending two weeks among the English, I again visited the Danes in New Denmark. A meeting of the colony had been held to warn the people against “false doctrines.” I visited thirty-two families, and found that five of them had been reading the ADVENT TIDENDE. Four said they would still read the paper if Bro. Rasmussen would continue to send it to them, but they could not pay for it themselves. I obtained one new trial subscriber, distributed more than six hundred pages of tracts and eight copies of the TIDENDE, and spent two evenings in answering questions and explaining the prophecies. Some seem to love the truth, and wish me to return and speak to them in Danish as well as I can.
I then returned to the English settlement, where I held several more meetings. Opposition was threatened—even violence. One Catholic family became interested. The meetings closed with a good attendance, and some are convinced that the Lord’s Sabbath is binding, but as yet they have not the courage to take a stand. Some are anxious to send the truth to their friends in other parts of the province. There was quite a general invitation for me to return as soon as practicable.
I returned to New Sweden, Me., Sept. 24. Have given twenty public and three private discourses. The Lord blessed in presenting the truth, for which I praise his name.
