Elkhorn and Altamont.—I have recently held eleven meetings with the churches at Elkhorn and Altamont. In these meetings I have tried to raise some money for the Scandinavian mission, in accordance with the testimony from Bro. and Sr. White. Feb. 9, the Elkhornpledged for that mission $408, a part of it is paid, and also voted to send for a set of White’s books to keep as a church library. Feb. 15, 16, I was with the brethren at Altamont, where they willingly pledged $76 for the mission, and paid a part of it. We thank the Lord for this liberality and love for the good work on the part of these two churches, and pray that the rest of our Scandinavian brethren, as well in Iowa as in any other State, show the same love for their own brethren.

Decatur Co., Feb. 26.—I held meetings at Green Grove, Ia., Feb. 8 and 9. It is encouraging to know that a few here are trying to live the truth, and are anxious to learn the way perfectly. I am now holding meetings at Pleasanton. I met with the Davis City church for two months past. They seem to be growing stronger in the truth.
