T. AND M. SOCIETY, DIST. NO. 1.—As I am at present confined at home by the sickness of my son, I wish to say to every officer and every member of the society in this district that I desire your co-operation in the work of clearing the society from debt as far as we are able, at the end of this closing quarter of the year. Let us do our duty. Collect all old dues and unpaid pledges, give the added one-third, and donations as the Lord has prospered us. This district is the most favorably situated, financially, of any in the State; let us do accordingly. We have a responsibility individually. Time is closing, and the work of God on earth is being brought to a close. Let us see to it that we share in the work, as we would not be excluded from the glory which is to follow.
R. F. COTTRELL.
