Secretary Lane Recovering From Heart Failure

Secretary-of-Interior Franklin K. Lane was affected by heart failure recently in Oakland. He has been doing altogether too much. He is one of the most inveterate workers and ablest members of President Wilson’s cabinet. The one thing that he demands of all who apply to him for political jobs is efficiency. Certainly the whole country will hope that he will soon recover.
