“I feel to thank God daily that my eyes have been opened to a knowledge of the truth of God’s holy commandments that I was ignorantly transgressing. It is evident to me from what I hear on every hand and in every land, that the time draweth near when our Saviour will appear; and I often shudder as I realize my imperfections; a weak, sinful creature. But the desire of my heart is, that I may live nearer to God than I have ever done. I read the Signs of the Times, and derive great consolation from it.”
