Training School for Nurses
By Editor
WE are in receipt of circulars descriptive of the Training School for Nurses at the Sanitarium at Battle Creek, Mich. This school has been in operation for several years, and offers advantages which probably cannot be excelled by any other similar institution. The course of instruction comprises two series of lectures continuing through forty weeks each. At the same time that the student is receiving theoretical instruction from the lectures, he is gaining practical experience in nursing, under skilled directors. Those who desire to do so, may pay their expenses in labor while taking a course of instruction. Here is a good field for young or middle-aged of both sexes, who have good health, good moral character, and any natural tact in waiting upon the sick.
