Alternate Sunday-School Lessons Proposed

In consideration of the fact that the Episcopal and Lutheran Churches do not use the International Sunday-school lessons, because they do not make provision for the festival days observed by those churches, the New York State Sunday-school Convention has adopted a resolution requesting the International Convention to instruct the lesson committee to issue alternate lessons for those desiring to use them, “which shall be appropriate to the Sundays preceding the days observed as anniversaries of the birth, death, resurrection, and ascension of our Lord; and the descent of the Holy Spirit.”
