Pork

“Pork.”—The word “pork” comes from the Latin porcus, swine; it is generally used to designate the “flesh of swine used as food.”
Well, we did not begin this little note to write a dissertation on the swine or the edibility, palatability, or digestibility of the porcus. We wish to call attention to a little tract which tells all about it, which should be read by everyone who wants to know about pork, or does not want to know. The subject of the tract is “Pork;” 16 pages; price, 2 cents. Address Pacific Press, Oakland, Cal.
