An Encouraging Report

We wonder if our readers went over all the items in "Our Work and Workers" department in our last issue. If they did, they read there of 483 different persons who had accepted the truth of the message which the SIGNS OF THE TIMES bears to the world, and were added to the church. There are besides these, 889 who are reported as being baptized. These do not include the number above,—a total of 1,372 reported. Note that this has reference only to those reported. In our gathering together these facts from our various state conference papers, we have not noted the many smaller reports of one and two; nor are all reported in these papers, by any means. For instance, we have attended four camp-meetings ourselves, but we have failed to find any report of these camp-meetings during this year thus far. It will also be noted that three churches have been erected and dedicated, and that eight churches have been organized. Certainly this is an encouraging report, but this is only one of many.
