We heard a gentleman say recently that the proposed Sunday law advocated by Mr. Tufts exempted one hundred different classes under twenty-two heads. We have not read it with that in view; but we can readily agree that the exemption of so many classes is sufficient condemnation of the bill. As almost every class except the poor independent laborer is exempted, why not exempt him?
