The Coming of the King.

By E. Guy Talbott

By E. Guy Talbott.
SOUND the trump, proclaim glad cheer; Shout hosannas, praises sing; Prepare, ye nations far and near, For the coming of the King.
Cry aloud the Saviour's name, Let all voices loudly ring; Let all people now exclaim: " 'Tis the coming of the King! "
O, what sorrow here on earth, For all who our Lord disdain; Evermore to suffer death, At the coming of the King.
O what joy will surely come To the faithful as they sing: "Glory, glory to the Lamb; Hallelujah! Christ is King!"
