Another Cherished Idea Shattered.

Prof. W. H. Pickering, of Harvard University, tells us after many years' study of the moon, that changes are constantly taking place upon its surface, such as would be caused by vegetation. It seems evident, therefore, that the moon has an atmosphere and moisture; in other words that our moon is a live planet. Professor Serviss remarked, not long ago, to the effect that it is not safe to settle conditions in other planets by those prevailing here; that a theory may be consistent, but facts are not always in harmony with the theory. One great fact scientists always ignore, and that is the perversion of law by the entrance of sin in the universe; hence always misconceptions.
