A Railroad Accident near Rock Springs

A Railroad Accident near Rock Springs, Wyo., December 7, resulted in the death of ten persons and the serious injury of nineteen others. A fire was started in the wreck, and five of the dead bodies were burned beyond recognition. The wreck was caused by the collision of a freight train with the overland passenger train—owing, it is said, to a confusion of orders on the part of the conductor and engineer of the freight train.
