Galilee of the Gentiles

3393.— P.— Galilee of the Gentiles was the northwestern part of the Promised Land, occupied by various peoples. These were enlightened with the Gospel at that time. In a way they were a type of the great Gentile lands beyond the borders of Israel upon which later the light would shine.
