Labor Fight Over Redistribution Bill

Advices from Melbourne state that the redistribution of seats bill introduced in the Parliament of West Australia met hostility from the Labor members of the house, who, to prevent its passage, kept the house in continuous session for twenty-nine hours, when they were obliged to give up from exhaustion. The uproar was so great at times that none of the speakers could be heard. The fight finally came to a fistic struggle, and the Labor Party withdrew from the house in a body.
