Is It Right?

The one great question with the Christian as to the character of the work he undertakes should be, "Is it right?" not, "Will it pay?" Let those who serve the world, the flesh, the devil, ask such questions; the Christian can not afford to do it. Such questions can only be secondary with him to the transcendentally greater one, "Is it right?" Right may not seem to pay now, but it will in the end; and it pays now in character building, and it pays eternally. "The true gain is the long gain."
