A SABBATH WALK.

MISS E. BATTERSON.
BRIGHT Sabbath day, thy balmy air Invites us to the wood. Man spent the first blest Sabbath there, When God pronounced earth good.
If it were good for him of old His altar there to rear, Then it is good, when leaves unfold, We there our God revere.
Our God hath made all nature fair, Tree, flower, and running brook. The birds that carrol in the air Are part of nature's book.
So let our hearts be filled with love For Him who is our Way; Our praise ascend to God above For this blest Sabbath day.
