2227.—Sabbath Employment.
Is it right to write missionary letters on the Sabbath? Is it right to straighten out Sabbath accounts, such as to set down money received in Sabbath-school or church? To the first question, yes, it is just as much the Lord's work as it is to hold missionary conversation. To the second question, yes, but minimized so as to make the work as little as possible. The Sabbath commandment forbids our own work, our own ways, our own pleasure. Isa. 58:13.
