The Last Terrific Crash

SPEAKING of the roar of the hoarse-throated cannonade on Europe's field of war, the editor of the Philadelphia North American says: "Cannons speak but a single tongue. Tremendous though it is, the present struggle of the Titans will, in comparison, dwindle to insignificance before the terrific world-sweeping Armageddon that will come in the near future, when "the kings of the earth and of the whole world" are gathered together for that last furious clash of arms which will terminate in the crash of all nations.
