HEART LONGINGS.

I'm a pilgrim, and seeking a country Where mortal feet never have trod, A city with walls and foundations, Whose Builder and Maker is God.
I am poor and yet heir to a mansion, For Jesus has gone to prepare A place for the chosen and faithful; I long for my home over there.
I read in the word He has given That only the spotless and pure Can enter the gateway to heaven, Or ever its brightness endure.
I long for that home, still with patience I wait, for His coming is near; May I with the faithful be ready To greet Him when He shall appear. Mrs. Carrie K. Butcher.
