Settled on the State of the Dead

Bro. J. W. Miller writes from Greenvale, Ills., Oct. 29th, 1858: "The Review has become a valuable paper to me and my family. I now believe that it advocates plain, Bible truth. I have been troubled some time in regard to the state of the dead, but am now fully settled, and am in every point with the Review. I cannot see how the existence after death, and a resurrection of the dead, can correspond."
"The articles on self-deception have caused me to think much. By the assisting grace of God, I shall try to search my own heart, and lay up a good foundation against the time to come."
