The Lord’s Goodness to Me

Bro. Smith: I would like to say a few words through the Review concerning the Lord's goodness to me. I can truly say he has done a great work for me during the last six months for which I feel to praise his name. I have been led to see that I was a great sinner in the sight of God, and although I had professed to be a follower of Christ for more than two years yet I loved this world more than I did my Saviour; but I now feel to rejoice that my lot was ever cast here among the true people of God. I can say that I now love the truths of the Third Angel's Message. I love to keep God's holy Sabbath. I rejoice in the soon coming of my Saviour; for I believe he is soon coming to take his ransomed people home. O, it is a glorious thought to think of being redeemed from off this earth and never taste death. I find I have many things to overcome; but by the grace of God I am determined to overcome all, that I may have a right to the tree of life and enter in through the gates into the city.
