Quarterly Meeting.

The State quarterly meeting, of which we give a business report in another column, was a decided success. It was well attended, not only by our people both sides of the bay, but from other parts. With the important business considered, there were also several discourses given, and a good social meeting was held on the Sabbath. The ordinances were celebrated, near 150 participating. It was a refreshing season, many testifying that it was good for them to be here. The spirit of the Lord impressed our minds with the magnitude and importance of this work, many testified that they felt this as never before, and meant to go home to labor more earnestly for the advancement of truth. The Lord will bless them if they do so. J. N. L.
