CHICO AND RED BLUFF.

MET with the church at Chico on Sabbath and Sunday, May 14, 15. Held three meetings. Bro. Briggs came and preached Sunday evening. On Monday we visited the brethren at their homes and left them quite encouraged. We then came to Red Bluff and pitched the tent. Commenced meetings on the 23d. Up to this evening have held eight meetings, with an average attendance of about one hundred. The interest is good, and we see a large proportion of the same persons every night. We hope with the blessing of God that a good work may be done here. Our Sabbath meetings on fast-day and yesterday were seasons of refreshing to all present. Bro. Briggs and Bro. L. A. Scott will continue the meetings.
