Note from Bro. Ingraham.

Dear Bro. Smith: As angels are watching over this world with great interest, and rejoice over sinners when they repent, and saints are engaged in the same work, I would say for the encouragement of the remnant, that the Lord is in mercy remembering the people in this vicinity. Since my return from the West between twenty and thirty have embraced the Sabbath of the Lord our God. Others are investigating, and will soon, I think, connect themselves with us in keeping all the commandments of God. The church in Ulysses are striving to overcome. Our meetings are spiritual and well attended.
Yours in hope. Ulysses, Pa., Feb., 1858. WM. S. INGRAHAM.
