Bro. Smith: We had an encouraging meeting at Port Allegany, Pa., the second Sabbath in August, though but few were present from a distance, as the notice of the meeting came too late; yet the Lord was with us, and we trust its influence was good upon the brethren and sisters, and the community around them. Some we left seeking the sanctifying power of the blood of Jesus which "cleanesth from all sin." One sister came from a distance to follow the Saviour in the ordinance of baptism, and was baptized in the Allegany river, and went home rejoicing. B. F. R.
