SOLDIERS OF THE CROSS.

[Bro. SMITH: I send you a hymn which I clip from a sheet of music lately printed, which if you think proper, you will please insert in the Review. S. C. WELCOME]
Ye valiant soldiers of the cross, Ye happy praying band, Though in this world you suffer loss, Press on to Canaan's land. CHORUS. Let us never mind the scoffs or the frowns of the world, For we've all got the cross to bear; It will only make the crown the brighter to shine, When we have the crown to wear. All earthly pleasures we'll forsake, When heaven appears in view; In Jesus' name we'll undertake To fight our passage through. O, what a glorious time there'll be, When we arrive at home; Our friends and Jesus we shall see; And God will say, "Well done!"
