Sensational Sermonic Announcements

THE sensational sermonic announcements begin with the autumnal equinox. We noted one the other day to the effect, "Sermon in the evening ‘on the Man who Waxed Fat and Kicked.’" We wonder our sensationalist didn't announce his subject as "the gentleman whose plethoric condition bordered upon obesity, and who projected his pedal extremities forward with a convulsive movement in a rapid manner." When one is going to be a clown one ought to be the best clown possible.— Christian at Work.
