Death of Laura J. Rogers

Fell asleep, Jan. 11, 1861, sister Laura J. Rogers, wife of Sanford Rogers, of Wright, Ottawa Co., Mich., aged 27 years. Sister Rogers sleeps in death until the morn of the resurrection. Bro. Rogers bears his affliction with patience and true Christian fortitude, and the language of his heart is "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; and blessed be the name of the Lord." J. L. EDGAR.
