Convinced of the Sabbath
By Abigail Bailey
Bro. Smith: It is nearly ten months since Bro. Hull came here with the tent, and gave lectures on the third angel's message. It was the first I had ever heard. I had been a member of the Methodist church forty-two years, and had been seeking after truth, and striving to lead a christian life. When I came to hear the law subject investigated, the clearness of the Sabbath astonished me. I was convinced of its obligation, though I did not wish to acknowledge it. But I do thank God that I can now say with the psalmist, I thought upon my ways and turned my feet into thy testimonies; I made haste and delayed not to keep thy commandments. I do hope I shall ever be found with the rem-199nant. Pray for us here, dear brethreu and sisters, for with the rest of you we have mauy things to discourage us. We have not had preachiug here but twice within ten months. We do wish that some of the messengers would come this way. We will do all we cau for them.
