OBITUARY.

DIED, in Hubbardstou, Mass., April 2, 1861, Bro. Thomas Hale, aged 52 years and 8 months. He received an injury last winter, rode out March 21, got chilled, the day being stormy, from which typhoid fever set in, which proved fatal. He leaves a widow and four sous to mouru his loss.
It becomes my painful duty to aunounce the death of my brother, Alonzo Caviuees, who died April 21, 1861, aged 5 years, 5 months, and 10 days. We do not mourn as those who have uo hope; for he sleeps in his grave till the Life-giver shall come, wheu he will awake iu glorious immortality. There I hope we all may meet where parting will be knowu no more.
WM. CAVINESS.
