Death of Cecelia Shireman

DIED in West Union, Iowa, on the 14th of August 1864, Cecelia, daughter of Daniel T., and Amelia Shireman, aged eight months and one day. We feel to trust in the Lord, and say with the poet, > "By thy hands the boon was given, > Thou hast taken but thine own; > Lord of earth, and God of Heaven, > Evermore thy will be done." D.
