SOLOMON MYERS

From Bro. Myers.

DEAR BRO. WHITE: I find myself at last in this new territory, where I expect to stay for a year, at least. I do not know of a Sabbath-keeper in the territory; if there should be one or more in a reasonable distance, it would be a pleasure to know their whereabouts. I do not know that the present truth has ever been preached within one hundred miles of me. Should some of our messengers feel the missionary spirit, and wish to pioneer a little, here is a good field for labor. Small towns are springing up; the people are intelligent and thoughtful, and we hope the message will soon be preached here. I could furnish a home for a preacher, and some pecuniary aid, but am not able to sustain a mission alone.
