1 Chronicles 15:11

And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

The verse belongs to the account of David's plans concerning the house of God and bringing the ark to Jerusalem, where David gathers Israel's leaders and calls the priests Zadok and Abiathar and the Levite leaders Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab to take part. The movement brings the ark from Kirjath-jearim to Jerusalem, and in this stage from the house of Obed-edom, where it stayed three months, to Jerusalem with gladness into a tent David had prepared, after its long absence from the tabernacle at Shiloh.

The call begins the corrected effort to move the ark according to God's instructions, which ordained through Moses that the Levites were to carry it on their shoulders using its poles. The earlier attempt had not handled the ark in the due order but used the Philistines' method despite good motives and public approval. It was interrupted in judgment when Uzza was struck down for touching the ark.

Instruction given through a prophet remains binding after the prophet has died, and human judgment is unsafe when it sets that instruction aside.
