1 Chronicles 29:22
And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest. And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.
The people ate and drank before the Lord on that day with great gladness, in a joyful celebration of worship and fellowship. On that same occasion Solomon the son of David was made king the second time and anointed unto the Lord to be chief governor, while Zadok was anointed to be priest. Solomon's appointment as king and the work of building the temple were entrusted to him by God as a sacred charge. The continuance of his kingdom was made to depend on keeping God's commandments.
