And some of them, even of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men, went to mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi. Five hundred men from the sons of Simeon went to Mount Seir under four captains, Pelatiah and Neariah and Rephaiah and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi. There they smote the remnant of the Amalekites who were left in that place. Their deed was a deliverance of the descendants of Jacob from the descendants of Esau. In this deliverance is seen God's faithfulness to His promises.
