1 Chronicles 6:30

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

The verse belongs to the genealogical records in 1 Chronicles, naming Shimea, Haggiah, and Asaiah in successive line of descent.
Those genealogies were kept as faithful records that preserved the names and lineage of God's people and established hereditary descent.
After the exile this hereditary proof was needed for assigning land and maintaining the temple service.
That careful preservation includes the line of Judah, through which Christ came.

Its inclusion shows that God is particular about each soul.
He remembers by name even people whose lives are otherwise unknown, knowing each person individually.
This gives comfort to those who fear they have been forgotten.
