1 Corinthians 14:24

But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:

When the whole church prophesies together, an unbelieving or unlearned person who comes into the gathering is convinced of all and judged of all that is spoken. This conviction comes because God's power resting on believers is communicated to the visitor, so that even unbelievers recognize that power and strength are with God's people. Whether that visitor is drawn to join depends on how the meeting is conducted, for humble ministry leads toward God while self-reliant, excessive speaking drives seekers away from the truth.

The verse therefore calls for making church meetings meaningful and attractive to outsiders and unbelievers. Business-centered meetings that neglect spiritual interests will not bring unbelievers to conviction and conversion. Those who recognize this divine presence do not always yield to it, for some react with anger or leave rather than remain where God's angels are present.
