1 Kings 22:32

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.

This moment came during a combined campaign by Ahab of Israel and Jehoshaphat of Judah to take back Ramoth-gilead from the Syrians by military force. Jehoshaphat had rashly pledged to stand with Ahab in the war, and having given his promise he was unwilling to pull his forces back. He persisted even though the prophet Micaiah had warned that Heaven did not favor the undertaking. In the battle that followed, Ahab was struck by an arrow and died toward evening, after which a proclamation spread through the army ordering every man to go back to his own city and his own country.
