1 Kings 4:14

Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:

The entry belongs to the account of Solomon's reign and life recorded in the first portion of 1 Kings, in 1 Kings 1-11. It falls within the period of the undivided kingdom under Solomon, coming after Saul and David and before Rehoboam and the division into Israel and Judah. It shows Solomon's greatness as well as his wisdom in that he placed high officers up and down the country for administration. The result of that administration was that the people were numerous and contented and his fame spread into neighboring lands. Its picture of fame, wisdom, wealth, and national greatness shows Israel raised to the height of earthly prosperity.
