1 Kings 5:12
And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together. And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.
The Lord gave Solomon wisdom exactly as He had promised him. There was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two made a league together. That promised wisdom and that peace and league belonged to the gathering of material for the house of the Lord.
In that gathering Hiram supplied cedar and fir timber according to all Solomon's desire, while Solomon in return gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat and twenty measures of pure oil year by year. Solomon also raised a labor levy of thirty thousand men who were sent to Lebanon ten thousand a month by courses under Adoniram, together with seventy thousand burden-bearers and eighty thousand hewers in the mountains and three thousand three hundred officers over the work. He commanded that they bring great, costly, hewn stones for laying the foundation of the house, and Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders prepared the timber and the stones to build the house.
